On my recent trip to "The Outback" I have seen some fantastic sights, observed some magnificent scenes of our native flora and fauna and eaten some tasty food!
Although many think the outback is just dusty plains with no life in a hundred miles, they would be wrong, and if you ever see it, in real life- you will know why.
The cracked sands of our wonderful outback!
Beer bottle house..
Sturt desert plants- Said to be very rare, and that is truthful enough as this was the only bunch we saw, but they stood out extremely well in the dry sand.
We found Mr PaddyMelon by a train-track heading to Cobar! Unfortunately he had to be "Chucked" because of the fruit fly exclusion zone, which was coming up in a few hundred kms.
Miners memorial at Broken Hill.....
And to finish my NSW-Outback post-----a stunning view of Broken Hill, truly a great outback town!
